You always could do that for your own map.

I don't know if you can do it now, I still haven't checked, but two years ago or so you just were able to choose names from a list, not make your own.

I don't see why they would make a trailer for it when it's so early in development. All these supposed "place-holders" are throwing people off big time. They should have waited until the game was more presentable.

I mean, the maps look pretty good and all; definitely way better than CSS, but still, it doesn't look at all ready.

That's still the case. It's mostly because of the bots' radio chatter.

Am I the only one who really doesn't care if they reuse props? I honestly don't as long as it looks good.

I think it would be a waste of precious time to remodel simple props that are not unique to a particular time or place. I would however want originals for anything that adds to the feel of a place, like the red telephone boxes of England.

The texture files that go on those models should certainly be tweaked if it will enhance their appearence. For instance, a normal map could be scrapped in exchange for a ssbump.

I'll probably buy this, but I won't be buying Dota 2. I don't like games like that, just not my thing.

Who else watched the new HL3 trailer? It was in fullbright and dev textures but man those firefights against more Combine soldiers looked really interesting.

Arsenal Mode is based on the popular Counter-Strike: Source mod Gun Game. "Arsenal: Arms Race" and "Arsenal: Demolition" add eight new maps and expand on the classic Counter-Strike gameplay.

Valve is working directly with creators of Gun Game to create Arsenal Mode. "We are excited that Valve reached out and is working with us to ensure Arsenal Mode is the best version of Gun Game.", Michael Barr project lead of Gun Game.
