Earlier this week, a group of students in the Guildhall project, by the SMU university in Dallas completed the Half-Life 2 modification Eclipse.

Be sure to head over and get your copy.

I didn't like it. The art is great but I felt the gameplay as being slow and clunky.

It was "ok", I think I wasted my time Dl'in it. Nice art, nice char, slow framerates at level openning... and yes, VERY VERY short

I give it a 4 out of 10... :!:

Was very easy on the eyes but as others have stated, very borring for me. I would imagine us that find it borring are probably FPS peeps, I know I am. I need a big gun and a chopper or tank and then I am happy :-)

I could not get into it. kudos to the makers of the props, maps, and textures. Models are good. The effects and lighting are also very nice. I'm sure alot of work went into this even though it is short.

7/10 visuals
2/10 fun factor

Only things I know that refer to a "Chopper" are:

Helicopter! what I was referring to!
Motorcycle (Harley, custom)
or some sort of dicer/chopper for cutting up vegtables!

If it also refers to someones man unit then I could see how that could be construed a different way!!

I don't think i'll download this mod it's just not my style (I like SCI-FI FPS games/mods) and most people think it's boring anyway :shock:

*yawn yawn yawn* .. looked awesome, downloaded it .. and then a load of big fat "Z"'s started comin outta me. ZzZzZzZz .. yawn yawn yawn. very nice level design, very boring and repetative gameplay. :shock:
