Steam News

This week Ritual announced Sin Episodes, in development on Source that will be distributed via Steam. This is exciting for us here at Valve as we've always envisioned Steam being a way for other game developers to put games in front of customers, and over the next year we'd like to have a number of new games for you all to try out. You can get more information about Sin Episodes over at the official website, and we'll be including more information here as Ritual approaches release of the first episode later this year.

Meanwhile, the 2005 CPL Summer World Championship event is happening right now down in Dallas, TX, with all of the top Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, and Day of Defeat teams competing for a combined purse of $140,000. If you can't make it down to Texas to watch the event live you can watch the matches using HLTV. You can get information on how to watch them from this site. Good luck to all of the teams competing this year.

Sweet mother of Jesus. That means my Turkeyburgers map will be able to make a full circle to it's original game (sin -> Half Life 1 -> Half Life 2 -> Sin:Source).

I watched a couple of the CPL matches - some good players, although sporadically good. They either owned without mercy or died within the first 10 seconds.
