Well we got it in short time, Valve have released the Half-Life 1 High Definition pack, this pack will improve the quality of models in Half-Life. If you've played the original Blueshift then you'll most probably know what to expect.

Updates to the Steam Client have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Steam Client

* Added Half-Life: Blue Shift game and desktop icon
* Fixed HTML control sometimes drawing incorrect scrollbar
* Updated required driver versions for Source games
* Added support for Half-Life 1: HiDef model pack. To install the model package, click on the install link below while Steam is running:

They should stop wasting their time with HL1 hd packs and shit like that and work on the new cs:Source models.

Yes, because it's really efficient to work on a few models with 80 people.

Valve has teams. They have a team for DoD, CS and so forth. Because Valve gives us goodies doesn't mean everybody just drops their things and looks over that one programmer's shoulder gasping at some lines of code.

I have little orgies of posting after a 4 pack of Red Bull, I then celebrate by beating off to pictures of Jessica Simpson.

...
(plus I always float around friday/saturday nights to snatch up the juicy news report, I just got lucky last night and was floating around steam at that time)
