I just found a new favourite source mod, quality stuff.

I downloaded it thinking a quick 5 minutes before I do some work, 2 hours later i was still playing. A large amount of servers for a new mod already gives me the impression this one is going to have a really large following when it nears final product...

Dont get me wrong i wasnt 'dissing' the level :? i was just expecting to see the mapping seen in the trailer and was slightly disapointed! The whole look serves its purpose and gives out a taste of things to come, i have become very excited about this mod and its future.

Why yes, yes i was.

Anyway, i liked the overall style of the level, the implant upgrades, the models (although i want that hooded monk o=in the player models slideshow), and the hacking was interesting.

BAD: Not enough weapon choices, IMO there should be 5 weps for a class. And tons of ppl would just stand around hacking for no reason. Although i liked the look of the map, i didn't really like the map itself. Overall its very could, although improvable

Had a good time playing it, I can't wait until the full version is released. I want to see what other maps Team Dystopia has under production for future releases.

It's a great game for being so young, and I'm sure it will be one of the better HL2 mods in a year after it has been polished up.

The only thing that seriously bothers me is the map. So empty, so bland and so many things that the level designer should have noticed. Lights without light sources, City 17 apartment light bulbs in a high tech facility... small things like that, but it ruins a lot for me.

Great gameplay though.

Same here, it's kinda hard to shake off. Also another problem with the map is that there were no real landmarks to use as referance, which makes learning the layout pretty frustrating.

especially as corps. punks side is fairly straightforward but some parts of the corps place really confused the hell out of me for a while.

Meh. It was okay.

I just found that some things sounded like they were made up by a 10 year old, like "fatman fist". I just think that's a little lame.

Also, the sound needs a lot of work.

the gameplay is really adictive, but yea the map is kind of bad like ecpected, and the way cyberspace looks isnt the nest also. They could jsut realease their fdg and content and people would make some kewl maps for the mod

Well if your doing the maps, I'm sure they will be good. I have seen your work in the contests and I always thought you usually had the best overall maps. But I would still run and hide. These people are ruthless.
Their first album was better.

reeke you must admit that the map is not top quality, and it should be considering the rest of the mod. Still in terms of gameplay works well, except for having so many corridors that look the same
