The Ship goes commercial

Postby Blink on Sat Sep 17, 2005 10:29 am

Just had this sent to me regarding The Ship:

"After the success of The Ship mod for Half-Life Outerlight are now proud to announce the development of The Ship as a multiplayer PC title on the Source engine for full commercial release. This highly original multiplayer first-person murder game provides a unique alternative to the slew of generic death-match based games currently available.

It’s tough for developers to produce genuinely original concepts and innovative game-play in the current, cautious climate and we need your support to make The Ship a reality. Now is your chance to get onboard. Sign up for the email newsletter to track the development of The Ship, register a pre-order interest or take part in the beta testing.

The Ship sets sail summer 2006."

Check out the The Ship web-site for more details.

Exactly, its a full release which probably means you won't need steam even...

Very cool.
