Official Dystopia Mapping Competition

The Dystopia mod team and HL2 Mapping have joined to announce the Official Dystopia Mapping Competition.

The contest runs from 1st October and goes on for 3 months. Participants need to be registered before 1st of October to qualify.

1st place: $250 and a Dystopia shirt
2nd place: $50 and a Dystopia shirt

i've already tried to make dystopia maps, but the fgd is very buggy and I never could get anything to work right -- including spawning

I seem to have no troubles with fdg, but i cant map very well so iam out

i dunno what problems you could have with the fgd, but there is both entity documentation and a template map (among other things) available on our mappers forum, we also have quite a good and helpful community growing on both there and on our irc channel, feel free to check them out (info @ http://dystopia-game.com

I did use the template map, and I now know how to use all the new entities, they just wouldn't work correctly for me. I'll check out those forums for help then.
