Half-Life 2 Limited Edition Lithograph

Valve and Gamecloud have teamed up to bring us 2 limited edition copies of HL2 artwork. There are 100 printed in total but there are 2 up for grabs on eBay:

"Speakeasy's Gamecloud and the developers of Half-Life 2, Valve Corporation, have teamed up to help the American Red Cross in their hurricane relief efforts. Valve has produced 100 limited edition prints of a spectacular piece of art depicting the mechanical takeover of City 17 and the imposing alien citadel that figures prominently in Half-Life 2. The “Combine Wall” print is based on artwork that was made during the production of Half-Life 2 by Art Director Viktor Antonov.

While Valve plans to sell prints 2-99 to the public, they have graciously given Gamecloud prints number 1 and number 100, complete with certificates of authenticity, for our American Red Cross auction. Both the certificates and the prints are signed and feature an embossed Half-Life Lambda logo. One hundred percent of the proceeds for the auction will be donated to the American Red Cross to aid hurricane victims."

i have an 8x11 copy of this that i got in the back of a PC Gamer. its pretty sweet. if i had an extra $255, an awesome PC, a great car, and everything else i wanted, id buy it.

i just dont like the picture they display. ive seem much nicer looking 3dmax pictures on the net

as for the autograph and authenticity. who gives a flying fuck? im not a treehugging groupy. Their work is just as valuable to me as any other poster. And people who just buy these things for selling them later are assholes. smart assholes to be precise

Its for a good cause, thats teh most important thing. If valve was making money out of this than i really wouldnt give a shit, but since its going to the red cross, it will be used for good... I think.

yeah, but this way you get to be a nerd with a free autographed hL2 thing. Then you can brag to all your friends at school who says "I have #20 edition, rofl" and then the other guys says "yeah! well mine is #10!!!!". Then you cry, go home and tell Your parents to fuck off...
