Hidden: Source Beta 2 Teaser Video

The nice folks over at Hidden-Source.com have released a teaser video of the 2nd beta of The Hidden: Source, ahead of their planned release on Friday evening, this video shows off many of the new gameplay features, including that which has been kept tightly under wraps, until now at least.

"So you are all anticipating a Friday release for Beta2? Have no fear, we are on track for that date and the whole package is looking cracking if I do say so myself. To whet your appetites for Release Day I've slapped a little video together today showing off the levels, some of the stuff thats possible in Beta2, as well as just some plain cool looking scenes."

You can download the bink video from here, and also head over to the team's media section to check out pictures of their new map to the ranks: Hdn_Skyrise, bringing the total amount of stock maps for Beta 2 to a beefy 10 original maps, 15 total.

dunno why but that new feature to stick the bodies on the walls, looks a bit bad.. it's like playing gmod or something (and thats a bad thing)

the whole point of sticking ppl to walls is cus ur hiding bodies that way they wont know somones been killed in that area.

The maps look pretty good, and the gameplay seems interesting

Hm, I dont get that video at all... First of all, the textures in the sewer map arent very good, It hurt my eyes just looking at them. And all the maps they had recordings of were pretty much no different from the original beta. Not only that but the sticking the humand on objects/walls doesnt look to realistic.

Though, I will probably play it because I love teh gameplay. Too bad they dont wait for HDR, because HDR is still working in the games if the maps dont have them available, except its not actuly using it in the game.
