Postby Blink on Thu Oct 13, 2005 1:52 pm

The team over at Pirates, Vikings and Knights II have released some media images for the public to savour and enjoy:

"For starters, their coder Akz has been doing a lot to put together their first official Alpha Build, keeping very busy whenever the time is there. As of now, they have two working game modes-Booty and Booty Tag, the Skirmisher and Berserker are in-game along with the 2 Handed Axe and Cutlass, Fully functional team selection, their melee combat system is advancing, and much more."

There's no skin on the Heavy Knight model yet.
Maps are still WiP.

Why so much hostility?

maybe its supposed to look a little goofy... i mean the only goofier concept would have been pirates vs. ninjas.

If the maps pics they released are 'very WIP' then they should say that somewhere. Those would be pretty awful if they were final.

the maps are a little void of detail. i definitely like the ideas going around though about the different game types

(the map pics did say WIP btw)

I played the first version and I thought it was a very fun, original game. I hope the new version is as fun. I agree there could be more detail but i'm sure that will be addressed.
Their first album was better.
