Half-Life 2 Xbox Goes Gold

The latest from the Steam site is that Half Life 2 Xbox has gone gold:

"Bellevue, WA. - October 25, 2005 - Valve, a leading entertainment software company, announced today that Half-Life® 2 for Xbox has gone gold and will ship to retail outlets around the world on November 15, 2005. Half-Life 2 has been called "the Xbox prospect of the year" by IGN.com and is one of the most highly anticipated video game releases of the year."

Half-Life 2 for PC was released 16th november, kind of nice :).

Pity the game already exists on the PC. The only people I see playing HL2 are recovering Halo 2 addicts.

No, there are alot of people (people I know in fact) that simply have older computer that can't handle hl2: or if they could, it will look a whole hell of alot better on xbox (because a geforce 2 and 256 MB of RAM just doesn't cut it)

They should have made steam, supported by xboxlive and allowed players to download and play against PC players on Multiplayer game imo.

That would be cool -- but I think shooting with a mouse is way easier than using a joystick, so the computer guys might have an advantage.

isnt the xbox hard disc like 64 megs
