Steam has posted news about their successful release of the Half-Life 2 single player addition, "Lost Coast", as well as the upcoming Counter-Strike Source update.

"We hope everyone is enjoying Lost Coast. We've received a number of e-mails with positive feedback about the commentary system included in Lost Coast, so it's a safe bet that we'll look for ways to include commentary in future products."

The news also talks about the upcoming Counter-Strike: Source update which will include various new player models and the source versions of the popular CS maps de_nuke and cs_militia.

i hope they reintroduce the multiple skins for css, it just isnt the same with all the same models (i used to be able to recognise guy x because he had skin y etc)

Hopefully since its been a long time, they will add 2 new models for both teams. Im guessing Gerilla, leetcrew and SAS and... the other one. I think it was german? anyway, i REALLY want to see militia. they may make it like a Foresty area, ahhh that would be so bad ass.

Bah. Forget the leet terrorist. I always hated him. He looked more like the guy who would be sitting inside some complex hacking into gates for the rest of the Ts. DOesn't really look like someone who'd be charging into the firefight.

I would like to see the SAS and the German GSG-9 though. (Of course I never picked the GSG-9 because his tan helemt was too easy to get headshots on!

yea, militia's great. i like the original rocky theme, i hope they dont go off and ruin the theme like they did with prodigy.

I think 3dmike would have to make survivor for css, not valve. He made the original... I guess that is the same with 747....

Unless valve also got the rights to the maps when puting them on the game, then valve can remake them. Otherwise, I think its the map makers call, not valves.
