probably this thread, but i felt something was plastic in that animation the whole time. Can't explain it though, if you say its 100% real i would have believed it.

Same here, only because I read the thread first I knew to expect something and something didn't quite seem right about her face. Was still bloody impressive though.

That's the effect of the Uncanny Valley. The more realistic something becomes, the more you pick up on its imperfections. When you can't quite work out what these imperfections are it can leave you feeling a little uncomfortable and disturbed.

She looked so evil when the specular was displayed.

Its is really amazing that something could produce that. 3D animation's of people should look much better now in movies, and maybe can be used to create facial animation in games to a point of realism. With this and some super rendering engine like Cinema 2.0...
