I couldn't find any good models so I had to... Improvise. :D
I think I did OK though...

Thanks for the comment, I'll post more tomorrow.

...would a half-completed, fullbright devmap be considered abandoned?
i had fun once, and it was awful.

Oh, I wasn't insulting your work (which is damned fine for a devmap), it just gave me an idea.

Ok. Update time. I messed around with the ceiling and can't decide whether I like it or not...

Here's what I've done from the same perspective of the previous shot.

Much prefer the lighting in your last shot, Elv. But the ceiling does look better now, imo.

Better, the lighting is less harsh, which does the textures justice, the ceiling is also much better, I would consider using wooden beams+roof in this type of building.
EDIT: also usually, the beams serve a purpose of holding up the roof, maybe you can work with that as well.

Hominem: Yea, that's the color correction. As soon as I can figure out how I broke it, the 'bloom' lighting should return, as I favored it greatly as well. I was prepared to revert back to the old the ceiling, but your positive comment has made me decide to see what I can do in that area.

Man, it is looking nothing like the reference shot anymore...

904: I have no real idea what to do in terms of the beams. They'll stay guaranteed, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I have a few ideas, expect a small update before days end I guess.

Thanks for all the comments guys! This is like, my first map in a few months....
