Well the deadline was technically 2 hours ago because I'm on Pacific Standard Time. But a few hours here and there never hurt and since I knew for a fact that stoop was going to enter, I had to wait. If more people are seriously thinking about entering/finishing up entries I have no problem giving you guys the weekend. I didn't even finish actually, all I have so far is this

Just a quick one I did up. Took forever getting the model flow setup on my laptop (just switched to Win 7) also, having troubles with selfillum for some reason.

Gonna work tomorrow on some fixing or just another model altogether.

The deadline wasn't really clear since it just said midnight on Friday 27th, no timezone mentioned. I thought it was GMT, so I rushed my entry. I'd say have the weekend added, then voting starts money. Gives people a chance to improve and those with entries almost finished time to finish.

didn't mean this personal stoopy ;)
allround, if we keep adding days, weekends,...? what's the use of setting a deadline. I understand late entries like a couple off hours, because you're at the wrong place at the wrong time and it's impossible to upload or access your files...

but hey come on we had a week extension (although i myself also only started working 2 days before deadline) so I don't see why we have to keep extending...

anyways my two cent worth, but i hope this doesn't happen in future contest, it's kinda very demotivating...

Well, since there hasn't been a poll I assume it has been extended. My new entry:
Files are here (models and textures compiled for source)
Screenshots here
A football, sofa and armchair - download the files if you wanna see the textures.
Total tricount (all three objects combined): 3990 - I didn't really focus on optimisation
Texture info: 2 maps, diffuse/albedo (1024x1024, all objects into 1) and a normal map (1024x1024, all objects into 1).

To be fair I finished for the first dead-line. But when the extension came round I thought I might improve my enter. But if you notice we don't have another week just till the end of the weekend.

edit:
Decided to enter after all.

Download Model

I also included the texture .psd files as If I am honest I kinda fucked up the bake and so I was redoing it but ran out of time. But whatever I wasn't expecting to enter.

So yep one more day, and for Smithy's sake Ill end it Sunday at midnight GMT. FOR SRS THIS TIME.

NO MORE EXTENSIONS

Oh and by the way, I'd appreciate it if everyone would include triangle counts, and the amount and sizes of any texture map you used.

here's one with poly and tris count
and a new ingame screens.
also added bump and spec, but didn't check if they work correct... all 1024x1024

and the files

btw i made 2 versions, the small and the big one. the small was just for the screenshot, as +3000 poly's for such a small prop is a bit ridiculous.

5 minutes to the deadline, which is midnight GMT, and still no model files from Corigami, stoopdapoop, or Meo. I might put you guys in the poll anyway, and get the files later.

the big version is player size, so maybe I'll rig it later so it could be used as a low poly NPC orso. for the small version i could delete some edge loops and take it down to between 500 and a 1000 somewhere.
if i do I'll put them in the share models thread.
