What do you mean? Windows or just the glass? Because otherwise just get some from counterstrike or L4D (honestly, I doubt anyone in their right mind cares about stuff like that).

I don't like the glass textures that come with HL2. They never seem to work out properly for me.

Like Gradius said though, you could consider ripping from L4D or something. They're better looking.

Sure, I'm bored, I can attempt to make one for you. Whatcha need? Anything specific?

Are we talking a refract window or a plain window?

Preferably refract, as otherwise it can be kinda hard to spot the window. the few i made was nearly not visible

eitherway, there is a serious need for some clean textures :P

Ok, I'll do my best. Since you want it clean this may be easier than expected.

Most likely will be, or atleast not overly dirty like the stock textures :)

Would you mind uploading a screenshot of the area you want a texture for, it might give us a better idea of what you're looking for then a description alone?

Anyway, you're asking for a more visible texture that's cleaner? That's really not going to happen, I heavily suspect the general griminess is for the sole reason of letting you easily see that there is glass there.

Im just looking for a general and generic glass texture, as there are like 4-5 in HL2 entirerly, and theyre all dirty

you know, glass is simply a fully translucent surface with some surface reflection, and since it seems like you dont want any dirt on it, there is nothing more to it than filling an image with a light blue color (with low saturation) and making an appropriate alpha map and specular for reflections. Or refract map if you want that type of glass.

Could not be easier, for anyone actually. Just read up on how to implement the shader parameters.
You click on Build or type
make (or some equivalent), and you are astonished, then mortified, as you realize that the whole world is being
recompiled and relinked!
