Nobody likes emo here?

Good thing. The Serious Discussion forum would be filled up with topics about crying over not being able to fit in girl pants... :P
Their first album was better.

taking back sunday, dashboard confessional, etc. It's supposed to be short for emotional punk, but it has little in common. Very whiny, very complainy.

Emo's are depressed softcore goths who slash their wrists and cry and moan about everything, just don't go near them for your own safety!

I voted Hip-hop probably my favourite there, but you forgot DnB!!!!!! Cmon!!

voted for the hiphop

and emo is indeed for wristslashers. some examples are MyChemicalRomance, HawthorneHeights, StoryOfTheYear, and any band that screams at the top of their lungs that isnt metal.

Um, emo is less screaming, more whining into a mike. And What about punk? What about soul? What about Wierd ass techno? Screaming into the mike is most definately not limited to the rock genre. Hehe, the soul one is accurate but cracks me up. I'm gonna put some on.

No Soundtrack
No Classic

I vote for Trance.

The other music style are way to wild to concentrate. I just need background noise.

Rock owns all, ROCK FTW!

I like classic rock such as Aerosmith, The Beatles, etc., but newer bands like Nickleback, Velvet Revolver, etc. also kick ass. :smt035

I'm good with any kind of rock, as long as it's good. Only a select few songs are so damn good they leave me in tears, and thats because they're THAT good.

Examples of these beautiful masterpieces would be:
Nickelback - Far Away
Aerosmith - Fly Away From Here
Velvet Revolver - Loving the Alien (which I heard first time 2day, and loved it)
The one and only anti-Interloper

This forum is an evil negativity-brewing hellhole, like all internet communities, and should be shut down...

YokaI wrote:80s punk and some early 90s punk. Very little new bands are actualy punk now adays, but there are a few still existant (Swingin' Utters, NOFX, Rancid, US bombs). Old dropkick murphys is better than their new stuff imo, so I listen to Do or Die and The Gangs all here often.

Thats quite True, escpecially with Dropkick Muphys.

I like alot, liek anything with crazy guitar, like Joe Satraiani or Steve Vai can catch my attention. While even more simpler at times, punk can be a favorite. But then I can even take in a bit of Children Of Bodom :D
