Obscure music

It must be the band wich I played in, what was it called? The Jürgen Nöffler Experiment. And as a sidenote, Sonata Arctica isn't obscure, it just sucks. And also, Turmion Kätilöt has even more obscure live performance than it's music.
When cities burn and armies turn and flee in disarray.
Cowards will cry tis best to fly and fight another day.
But true warriors know it in their marrow when they die and fall.
It is better to have fought and lost than not have fought at all.

I'd imagine you've heard of them if you're into prog at all.

Victor Wooten is awesome. His album Show of Hands is one of the best bass performances I have ever heard in my life.
Their first album was better.

On his albums he mostly plays a 4-string Fodera bass. Every now and then he plays a 5 or 6 string bass. You can check out all of his basses on his site:

They use a lot of game style content in most of their tracks and there's lots of free full tracks to download. Hybrid and Ghost beneath the surface are probablly my favourites.

I'm aware Sonata Arctica may have a much bigger following in Europe, but not here. How does SA suck, exactly?? You're implying that your band is better than Sonata Arctica. I find that pretty interesting because I haven't heard any band play faster songs ever.

You're implying that you rate bands by how fast they can play?

And yes, in my opinion the band wich I used to play in, is infact quite alot better than Sonata Arctica.

Well, personal preference is no way to rate a band either. The only accurate way to rate how "good" a band is, is from a technical standpoint, is it not? And playing such complex melodies at the speed which they can is very impressive from such a perspective. I also believe that any voice trainer will agree that Tony has a great singing voice. These two facts alone make for a "good" band, not to mention the impressive lyricism (in my opinion).

I'm not the one who said they weren't good, so why do you think they aren't?
