I made some of my first forum posts ever on this site. Was posting alot of recomendations about how HL2 should be, Weapons they should have in the game etc... BEFORE the game was out.

I wasn't into the Borne style Bond they went with when they brought Craig on board. However it's nice to hear the ended out on a good note.

I stop through every now and then. every year or two I'll try to reinstall Hammer to make a little ep2 map, but I haven't been able to get it running in quite a while.

Coming back to hl2 modding a decade of programming later feels like returning to the tutorial island in a video game as a level 99.

I remember I felt like a genius when I was a teenager getting a gun to have an extra bullet if you reloaded while non-empty. Now I have no issue implementing whatever I want but the hype train for hl2 mods has died down.
