I've been practicing level editing since around 2001, starting with WorldCraft for Swat 3 and moving onto Hammer and UnrealED.
At one point i was hired by the Canadian Army and paid to produce a map for a mod they were making to train their troops with over in Canada, the screenshots of the Oilrig i created for them are below in the UnrealED section, as are shots of the farm based map i created. The levels i created were also used by the US Department of Homeland Security and the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police).
After university i was hired by Codemasters here in the UK where i worked as a track designer in their racing studio for three years. Now I am working as a Designer and Level Designer at Crytek UK.

I created the Ford Explorer below in my spare time, as I have been using 3D Max for a while but never made anything substantial like this. The whole project lasted a while but taught me an amazing amount about modelling and texturing

F1 2010
F1 2010 was made outside of our studios, at Codemasters Birmingham. I was however bought onto the project for about a month towards the end of development to lend a hand with setting up the AI and getting the cars to race as fast as possible around the tracks.

2008 - 2009

DiRT 2 is an off-road racing game for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It is the first game i have worked on since starting at Codemasters, and i was involved in track design and creation for it amongst other things.

University Game Development Project
Single Player Missions for Capital Punishment Mod, HL2
This level was created for a group project in which I was the level designer and did everything that involved using Hammer. The custom models shown here were mostly provided by the team, though I did a few myself as well.

The aim of the mod is to simply shoot everyone that attacks you, and if possible punt them through the hoops dotted around to gain bonus points. This can be done using the shotgun by crouching and aiming upwards at someone, or with the baseball bat in some places.
The work i completed for this mod includes creation and design of the two levels and the modelling and texturing of some props (but not the majority of them).
