Oh god, how I loved Command and Conquer. It was my first true love as far as RTS games go. I remember in RA2 setting a bunch of infantry in a building and setting my rocketeer guys above them-and invicible combo. that game was just so perfectly over the top. Generals was a fantastic leap to 3d, but by that time, I had fallen out of love of basebuilding, and was more into the total war series. Now I just can't go back. Oh well, good memories.

A few years ago I bought the C&C Theater of War Package which included C&C, Tiberium Sun, Red Alert, and Red Alert 2. The original Command and Conquer is on my computer right now, and it's patched to work.

The music from the first game is unforgettable. Honestly, how good is "Hell March," "Industrial," and "Act on Instinct"? Frank Klapecki is the man. They're planning on putting up all the music for download: http://www.ea.com/official/cc/firstdeca ... EA_Netwerk

jman, thank you for pointing this out to me. I will definitely buy it when it comes out -- just to have it all. I never owned Renegade or Generals, so its worth buying just to pick those titles up.

renegade had amazing multiplayer. I used to play it all the time. Migh reinstall and playagain. Not many servers left but there are enough diehard fans.

Oh and there is a mod for it on source.

Dead 6 it's called. not heard much from them in ages so i'm not sure if it's dead or just being quiet like a lot of mods are.

There was going to be a renegade 2 based around Red alert 2 some screenshots were released and it looked fucking beautiful (the renegade engine might have looked like shit but it was capeable of a hell of a lot more. It could have been pushed to unreal 2.0/ 2.5 standards imo) EA killed ren 2 off though which sucked. Mainly because renegade stopped selling after a while. Everyone slammed the single player but i maintain to this day it was cheesy but still quite fun.

Anyway where can i get this in the UK? i really want to relive my youth playing C&C i lvoed the fmv movies and the music. Fight win prevail? Fucking ace.

It's out already. I bought it and had played it before I posted.

P.S. In Yuri's Revenge I just ruined a guy online, made 200 rocketeers and rushed him.

C&C is definatly my favorite RTS series, so I do plan to get this pack, even tho I already own most of the titles. Once the price on it drops a couple bucks i'll grab it and replay all of the games, yay!
