hl3 is like the second coming of Jesus. Nobody knows if it ever happens, and if it did, nobody would care except for a few religious fanatics who still believe in ancient ideas

If Jesus came down from the sky, I think a LOT of people would care.. Atheists and religious people alike.

it's obvious that it will happen, it's just taking an awful long time..
and the longer it will take, the higher the expectations will be, which can result in a let down ala duke nukem.

I also do think the gaming community will care, it's not like Half life is this underground game only die hard fans know about.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people would care, on both sides of the point. Jesus, Half Life - second or third coming, it's a big deal.
