seems like an error thrown somewhere, but phpbb doesnt have the word 'idiot' anywhere, not in the codefiles, not in the language files, not in the config files, not in the templates, nowwhere.
Listing all possibilities here:
1) Idiot is caused by an error due to data in the mysql database. Very hard to track down, finding 'idiot' in mysql is practically impossible without knowledge of which column the word should be from (a full database search will likely bring down the server, so lets not do that
).
2) Idiot is caused by an error due to data in the mysql database AND/OR the language/code files, yet the word is encoded somehow making it impossible to find. eg.
- Code: Select all
echo "idi"."ot";
Produces 'idiot'.
3) Mr Happy is pulling us one. (not likely, just stating the possibility).
So unless Blink suddenly realises he made a usergroup or whatever with the name 'idiot' or something, the only way to track down the cause would be by editing the forum code in such a way that it will produce other messages along every error it thrown, making it possible to track down the cause. I'd think ignoring 'idiot' is a lot less work....
