@smurf

That's the high poly, not going to be a low poly, I'm not trying to follow an artists workflow just trying to improve my modelling and texturing, lll render out the wireframe in a bit

@source

Good start man keep going with it, make sure you round of some of those sharp edges and corners a bit :)

EDIT: Wireframe

Yeah, I was pretty sure it was the high poly, but I asked just to make sure since you didn't say anything about baking in your to do list.

Well seems like both purposes of my previous post were met. It gave feedback and fun.

Serioulsy now, good model. I like it and I find practical when people go directly to the lowpoly without all the hassle of a three thousand millon trys model just to bake a normal map that will be barely noticeable.

Keep an eye on the top view, just in case the car doesn´t end being too blocky. Sometimes we all commit the mistake of extrudding details out from the box but leave the box as it. Most cars, even the old american ones like that, have the front and rear ends narrower than the rest of the bodywork.

Only thing I think of is Thief. With all the gears and Hammers and what appears to be steam punk decor, it would fit in perfectly. Not sure if that is what your reference was, but keep it up anyway cause it looks great. :smt023

Are the gears just meant as decorations?. If so, you did a good job. If not, what purpose do they serve? If I were to do a steam punk hammer, I'd integrate some kind of pressurized steam system that would augment the hammer's impact.

I'm using 2.49 because I'm too much of a lazy shit to relearn all those hotkeys
And nobody gets the reference :(

Might remake the gears inside to link up better, adding some metal plating etc. to make it look like it actually does something
