Dunno if this campaign takes place after or during the comic but I am certain someone will map the comic locations.

it takes place after the comic, in the recent interview with chet faliszek they showed some clips of the sacrifice DLC
and you can see a clip that appears to be an intro with a train rolling in

Calling it now. They're going to do a flash-back of Bill losing his wife after so many years, seeing the world going to hell in the zombie apocalypse. Bill puts a gun in his mouth, closes his eyes, then hears one or two of the other survivors screaming for help. He decides to save them, ends up leading them through all the campaigns. His death at the hands of those tanks is validated further as the only reason he was still alive was to keep those three safe.

Oh my god... the faces... I mean they're all so-so, but in the 4th comic... Derp. Face. Every. Face. The artwork is so unbelievably terrible. I hope to god Valve asked for their money back. No no, hold on hold on, I'll make a collage!

The artwork isn't really that bad but bill doesnt look like bill so much as golem and Saxton Hale is filling in for francis.

It's a little known fact that Bill's forehead is actually 7 feet tall and only has a front row of buck teeth, and Zoey is a man with a giant chin and 6 inch wide nose.

The last two letters are the best part of that...

Its meant to be stylized.

Imo I got the same reaction from a friend when showing him the original "Halo Graphic novel" which featured pretty stylized art. (different artist for each comic made it worse)

Its not "bad", its just heavily stylized.

Ah Interlopers, a site made for critiquing and commenting that now has a strong team of people to say you're whining and over-analyzing when you don't love something that's posted, to the point where people quit and go to mapping sites that still value critiquing.

Image

It's not stylized. Terrible is not a style, no matter what Deviantartists may say otherwise. Maybe I'm not getting my point across, maybe I should make a 1920x1080 wallpaper sized image to show all the shitty faces through the comic. Where it looks like an anime "artists" failed miserably at drawing decently and Zoey looks like a man, Bill looks like Golem who only rape-faces with his 6 front buckteeth in every other image of him, Louis has de-evolved and Francis is just a trace of Saxton Hale in every single panel. Wait, scratch that, already did it.

The comic was free. I never asked nor wanted a l4D comic. Now that It's here it's fucking terrible high-school freshman quality comic book art, so... good thing it was free. Also the first person to say "Well lets see you draw better" obviously doesn't belong on an art website.

OHHH Ok so there is no such thing as personal taste and unique STYLES!

These guys are just wrong, straight up wrong and bad artists because of it.
