[VOTE NOW] ISMT Logo Constest

Postby BaRRaKID on Tue Aug 22, 2006 6:14 pm

I need a logo for ISMT(Interlopers Source Mapping Tournment), and since i'm out of time to work on that, i decided to make this small competition.
You'll have to make a logo, something that relates to the tournment, preferablly not to complex, and having ISMT as part of it. You can use whatever size, color scheme and style you want.
This will last untill sunday, however you can send your logo by pm to me after the deadline (but not to late). After sunday there will be a poll to decide what is the best logo.

logofiles are best in .PNG(I'm a digital artist, and have done many a logo, .PNG files are perfect for the web with a logo, but as far as print goes, .EPS is required for clothing and stuff due to the ability to stretch the file). Assuming you use photoshop, always make sure to make the size larger, then if need be shrinking wont look TOO horrible. I'd suggest using Illustrator for anyone that has it, it's a vector program, so everything is completely resizable with no quality loss whereas photoshop is a raster program an stretching or compressing causes loss of quality.

- It must be a png file
- No size limitation
- No background
- Make it look good!
- The main details must be noticable when the logo is scaled down

Logos i personally like:

Well, it's perhaps obvious but this is built on the working progress for a map. Starting with dev textures and boxlike going to a fully texturised and beveled product. Hope you like.
