I might be in, too. Will depend if I got enough time to spare. But I guess I will aim for a castle theme first, then realize I don't like it and make something else. We will see.

I've just imported the template into XSI and now I'm optimizing the mesh for easier editing, getting ready to model the whole scene and import it into Hammer for post production and finals. Who knows if I'll finish though...

Yes, I know you can see the crosshair, I was just too damn lazy to fix it.
I was going to focus more on the stuff around it, but I made the gate symetrical. I'm using it for some sort of monument thingie.

I'm getting some coded text for the vmf download link. or is this intentional?

Actually, that is the VMF file (vmf files are just text files with a different extension). Going to file->'save as' in your browser when viewing that text mess should give you a valid file (or just right-clicking the link and going to 'save link as' )

I've switched the link to a different host anyway now, should be more straightforward.
