Your own bands?

Postby p1nkfl0yd1an on Thu Mar 02, 2006 3:39 pm

Indeed the center for statistics and bullshit has deemed that 3 in 4 people are in a band of their own... and 50% of these people are in more than one band. Sadly I am not in a band but i've got some friends who are silly music majors and have their own band. It's at

http://www.myspace.com/emperorstan

also the bassist from emperor stan is in a band called groovelight

Post your own links to your bands, and your friends bands... because what fun is being in a band if no one checks them out?

My friend's band is here:
http://www.mikseri.net/artists/?id=44627

But they haven't updated much songs because they have proplems with recording. And those songs are also a bit old.

I once bought a Banjo, played it for a while, recorded this while totally wasted, sold it to Cash Convertors and bought some hash.

That was a good day.

I am a good song writer/singer; I am using "The Zen of Screaming" now to tone my screaming voice for the times when I will need it.
I love playing drums as well..but drums+singing don't go together well, so when we get a band started I'll have to choose =(

^^ (( sickshot has professional recording -- novembers child's myspace only has home recorded songs, they did a professional recording thing for their demo CD but couldn't get the songs on myspace ))
They both sound completely awesome live.

my band since highschool....

there wont be anything to the site anytime soon, because we're all busy with college and such, but i graduate next fall, so probably in a year we're gonna try to get a recording up on the site... we're not trying to be rich rockstars, we just love music, and have a hobby...

i used to be in a band that was on MySpace. We had over 15,000 plays. Stuff didn't work out and supposidly we did something to the other kids at our school. A rap dominated school and it was a rock band so it didn't work out. But whatever, the singer, me (bass) and the guitarist still play together and we have people ask us if what we're playing is covers.

Also, to any bands interested. On http://www.gangwarsmod.com the music section there is an offer to have you band's music hosted for free. So check it out. and of course check the mod out.
