VB RPG

Just because I had nowhere else to put it :P

This is just a little project that I started when my computer broke a few weeks ago, leaving me with just a shitty computer with only Visual Basic '08 on it. Being the bored and sad individual that I am I began to code what started as a test (to see if it could be done) and eventually began to quickly expand it something much bigger.

Right now I have a few things still to do before I can finally draw this thing to a close.

+Finish town store
+Get a password system going
+Add good / bad quests
+Add consequences for being good + evil
+moar enemy's!

Anyway, here's a download if any of you want to try it out (I believe it should work if you have any Microsoft office application installed)
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?milb24i8xny7u6b

Enjoy :)

Oh, and apologies if this is the completely wrong place to put this, I'm new here :3

Seen this done before, really cool ^^

Like reading a book - leaves a lot to the imagination.

This has been done a hundred times, not saying yours is bad or anything, just telling you it's the way a lot of old games were made.

Well ye, like the really old D&D games.

When I asked about who else did the same idea, I thought you meant somebody else made one in Visual Basic :P

Has somebody made something else in VB?

Yeah, I made one in VB, it was called Zombie House, and you had to barricade and it would tell you how well you survived at the end. I never fixed up the code since I got bored with it though. Really buggy.

After killing the beggar, the "shady man" in the corner of the inn was gonna give me a quest.
But when I followed him I get finished combat dialog and it says the beggar was dead.

I'm assuming the beggar was part of some quest?
