I can only agree that it looks very refined now.
Plus I do like the use of some vivid colors, compared to the slightly washed out mood most maps create.
Although the complete lack of both color correction and postproccess effects feels a bit ... "unintegrated"?
Maybe some cautiously set fx could add even more to the visuals.
One brief comment, however:
This legacy of a plant looks out of place.
Although removing it would create quite an emptiness. Hmpf.
Other than that, I am pretty sure that
$reflectivity could be used to manually author the light bounce.
Nodraw.net had a nifty article regarding that.
