Have it run for a couple of days. The 2 hour limit will still be there. We will have more people submitting since it's easier to find the time for it. I personally read the news about this speed contest a bit too late and didn't get to participate.

(I think I posted this same text somewhere else, but this section seems more suitable)

It's actually harder to do this if it takes too long. The idea of it running in just one weekend is so that we can have a new challenge each week. So expect a new one next Saturday :)

So what's the deal with the polycounts, is it game-models only, or are highpoly's for normal bakes allowed? or does it have to be lowpoly+normal? :|

You just have to create a model in two hours, the rest doesn't matters.

Is there any problem with using Blender? It's used among modders fairly often. Haven't seen it used much when it comes to professionally made games though.
