It's been awhile. A very long while, how are we all these days??
Well I decided its about time to bust out the old mapping again and figured I'd give modelling another crack too, well kind of anyway. I got some brushes (massive beams for a hanger actually) which I saved as a vmf, and managed to convert into .obj file.
Now however, I can't recall how to compile the obj file to .mdl for use in game??? I did it before years ago but I have no idea how I did it back then.
Could anyone give me some info on this?? I'm using 3dsmax 2009.
tl;dr I need to convert my brush based model into a proper model for use in hammer and ingame, how to do this??!
